VABAW Board Supports Equal Access to Justice for All

 On March 5, 2020, VABAW wrote to Governor Inslee expressing strong support for the passage of HB 2567 concerning open courts. As community leaders and advocates, we stand for equal access to an impartial legal system that is free from fear and worry due to one’s immigration status.

We are pleased to share that the bill has passed both the House and Senate and is currently awaiting signature with the Governor. We are honored to have been invited by Representative My-Linh Thai to voice our position with our state leaders.
