Vietnamese American Bar Association of Washington
11th Annual Banquet
Wednesday, October 14, 2015
5:30 pm – 8:30 pm
Triple Door, 216 Union St. Seattle, WA 9810
In recognition of the struggles and successes of Vietnamese immigrants, this year’s banquet is themed, “Our 40 Year Journey.” To celebrate this anniversary, our keynote speaker Binh Mach will discuss his childhood in Vietnam, his arrival to Washington State as a teenager, and his journey in reviving a local machinery company from bankruptcy and growing it to become one of Boeing’s top suppliers.
In addition, banquet guests will enjoy passed hors d’oeuvres, a three-course meal, and a fashion show, showcasing the latest designs of traditional Vietnamese attire created by local University of Washington graduate and fashion designer, Anh Pham. His work has been featured in New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, and other major cities in the U.S., including most recently at the Mandalay Bay hotel in Las Vegas.
Your presence and sponsorship ensures not only a night of fun and merriment, but also the continued success of VABAW, our mission, and our Hồng Đức Clerkship program in Vietnam and our Judicial Externship program in Washington State.
